Open Agile Adoption (OAA) is a  technique for getting a rapid and lasting Agile adoption, incorporating invitation, Open Space, passage rites, storytelling and more, so Agile adoption can take root. The purpose of Open Agile Adoption is to increase levels of engagement.

It’s obvious that the Agile movement is not producing the kind of transformative results that are entirely possible. If current approaches actually worked well, then by now, organizations would have reached a state of self-sustaining and freestanding agility.

You'll learn a proven way to get a lasting Agile adoption. If your Agile adoption program is in trouble, you'll learn how to repair your Agile effort.

  • Dan's is gifting his new book THE OPEN AGILE ADOPTION™ HANDBOOK, to the 1st 20 people who ask questions during the Q&A.

    What You Will Learn:

    * Why mandated Agile adoption is creates disengagement
    * How engagement powers every genuine and lasting Agile adoption
    * How to use Open Space to get GREAT results in your Agile adoption
    * Why you need to know about communitas, liminality, and passage rites
    * The concepts of the Open Agile Adoption method

Even though I will not be there, perhaps we should ask Dan if he has done any Lean Coffee sessions at AgileBoston.  We may use the Lean Coffee voting for the open space discussion meeting in December . . .

"Shyam Kumar said on April 23, 2013 . . . We started Lean Coffee at the Agile New England user Group – here in the Greater Boston area.  We also held a couple of Lean Coffee sessions at the local SPIN-Boston meetings.

The Lean Coffee meetings and discussions were very interesting and lively – so much so that the the folks assembled did not want to break up to go to the main meeting.  . . . http://leancoffee.org/cities-with-lean-coffee
