Autism Village is a 501c3 non-profit which is building mobile and web tools to address the practical challenges of life with autism. There are a billion people in the worldwide autism community and 1 in 42 births is now being diagnosed with autism. Our goal is to create a better future for everyone living with autism and those who love them. Our first release on mobile and web is a location based crowd sourced ratings and review app which works like Yelp but just for autism.

 

We are in need of passionate user interface talent for part time, project based, or intern based help to us with UX/UI strategy, design, and wireframes. We have plans to expand the offering to additional crowd sourced directories and a variety of new features.

 

While our non-profit has limited funding, this is a PAID not volunteer Part-Time effort.

 

Having said that, it feels awfully good being part of a team which is providing practical help for hundreds of million people. We love getting fan mail every day from those we help.

The Senior Agile Coach will work with varying stakeholders from Senior Leadership to the Agile team level to facilitate the adoption of Agile practices used at T. Rowe Price (Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe) and play a key role in establishing, growing and continuously improving the foundational materials, processes and brand of the T. Rowe Price Agile Practice.

 = Approximately 40% of the Senior Agile Coach's time would be spent focusing on the following: Uses consultant-level Agile experience to influence Agile adoption and attendant transformation among a broad and varying audience from Sr. Leadership to Agile teams. Uses expertise to conduct organizational assessments for Agile/SAFe adoption (as necessary) and project management skills to create organization adoption plans and lead execution of the plans.

 = Approximately 25% of the Senior Agile Coach's time would be spent focusing on the following: Leveraging extensive Agile training delivery experience as part of the T. Rowe Price Agile On-Boarding process; contributing to the established T. Rowe Price Agile Practice training programs; creating and delivering additional training needed; partnering with the Agile Program Manager and peer coaches to evolve the change management strategy and associated execution plans.

 = Approximately 20% of the Senior Agile Coach's time would be spent focusing on the following: Combining varied external experience with acquired understanding of internal T. Rowe Price culture, drive change and grow organizations to the desired level of Agile maturity via establishment, growth and continuous improvement of the foundational materials, processes and brand of the Agile Practice.

 = Approximately 15% of the time, the Senior Agile Coach will lead or contribute to the T. Rowe Price Agile Practice’s metrics and measurement program.

 The Sr. Agile Coach should be a recognized leader in the TRP Agile transformation effort and a critical "face of Agile" to both leadership and execution teams. In addition to the extensive experience, skills and knowledge that will enable the credibility required, the Sr. Agile Coach will exhibit an effective balance of poise and maturity critical to effective change management efforts.

Immediate need by long-time member Erik Costello - A small private company is looking for a telecommuting 1099 contract (possibility of FT transition) to Coach and Scrum Master them.  Must guide existing team through an agile transformation while development and support is ongoing.  Team is using Jira for backlog management and GitHub for source control.  Products are AngularJS for front end work and MoonScript for backend.  Candidate needs to be a strong agile coach and experience scrum master to coach both executive and team levels.

Non - Agile - more Traditional Project Manager Roles to be filled

Project Manager for 6-8 months in Center-City Philadelphia to work in the area of HR using Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) methods.  Needs excellent communication skills and able to handle several complex projects at once.

Also, a higher level person with experience for 1-2 months to develop a Project Mgmt Office.  Certs in PgMP and PMP and experience in HR and the telecommunications industry are a plus.
