Passing the Hat for Pizza

For the upcoming meeting, despite our best efforts, we have not been able to secure a company sponsor or private individual to spring for pizza for the meeting.  So we are expecting everyone who attends to pony up $5 for pizza.

If you attend, then $5 is will be collected at the start of the meeting.  This is the model for Meetup.com, and was how the pizza-tradition of AgilePhilly was started 10 years ago. 

" …but I am gluten free and I don’t eat pizza”  - Sorry, it is the cover charge for enjoying AgilePhilly and the comaraderie that breaking bread with friends entails.

If you answered your RSVP with Definitely Yes, we expect that Yes, you will honor your commitment.

If you answered your RSVP with Maybe, you may be out of luck and tossed out of the chow line.

Note that any leftover pizza becomes a thank you to the security guards at the front desk, and any extra money not going to pizza goes into the kitty to pay for our webpage hosting costs.
