The real Cinco de Mayo is September 16

"The16 September military parade in honor of the anniversary of Mexican Independence is an annual tradition dating back to the late 19th century and the beginning of the professionalisation of the Mexican Armed Forces in the 20th century. Held yearly nationwide on September 16, Mexican Independence Day, is presided by the President of Mexico

The Cry of Dolores (Spanish: Grito de Dolores) occurred in Dolores 1810, when Roman Catholic priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla rang his church bell and gave the call to arms that triggered the Mexican War of Independence.. Every year on the eve of Independence DayIndependence Day The Grito de Dolores (better known as El Grito , the Cry for independence) celebrated every year on the night between September 15th and 16th is a Mexican holiday par excellence.

  • Our events are Free but you must RSVP.  We have Evening Meetings in the Western Suburbs, usually on the Third Tuesday.  They usually begin at 6:30 pm.  A sample agenda would be:
    • 6:30-7:00 pm: Eat & Greet & Network
    • 7:00-8:20 Main Topic/Speaker
    • 8:20-8:30 Q & A , Pack-Up, More Networking

  • Our Sponsors cover the cost of pizza / sandwiches for an evening.

Our attempt with the group is to provide an environment where you can exchange ideas and meet with individuals involved in agile community.
