Enhance Your Career by Stealing Microsoft's Code with Brian Benz
March 22nd, 2016
Also, he could use some people to review or vet a new user-group-leader. This would entail some back and forth emails, which is the kind of virtual activity that we AgilePhilly Coordinators do to keep our user group on track.

Meeting Details
eBay Enterprise (former GSI Headquarters) on First Avenue.
Our speaker is flying in from Microsoft (yes, that Microsoft) as part of a JUG roadshow, and our event will start with a very brief yet deeply emotional ceremony and an exchange of gifts and swag to signify the newfound peace between his people and ours. Brian is a Program Manager focused on Java and open tools at Microsoft.
RSVP is REQUIRED FOR ALL PHILLYJUG EVENTS
Abstract
Microsofts open source offerings for Azure, and talk about how Java developers could benefit from using Azure services in their applications. The focus will be on real-world examples using Microsoft’s open source SDKs on GitHub and tools available for non-Microsoft developers, with a drill-down into our Java offerings and how they can enhance Java applications. We also want to gather feedback from attendees on some exciting new offerings designed to make it easier to deliver Java in the cloud.
