International Womens Day
will be a topic for our Women in Agile - Philly Chapter
https://www.internationalwomensday.com
The themes:
An equal world is an enabled world
#EachforEqual
is a kind of " all for one, one for all " attitude - and is something to encourage for each and every team we choose to join - either at work or in our personal lives.
This year March 8 falls on a Sunday . . .
Every 8 March is a UN observance called “International Women’s Day”. The first women’s day was actually on 28 February and held in New York City in 1909 by the American Socialist Party. The 8 March date springs from the holiday kept by Soviet Russia, commemorating the Russian Revolution, which actually began with an uprising of women textile workers, in 1917, during World War I.
