For January's meeting, we'll focus on the practice of learning something new. Learning is woven into the fabric of our work lives, but why do we learn new things? How can we address common fears and mistakes when learning something new ?
ClojureScript and Functional Patterns on the Frontend -

In this talk, we will discuss how to simplify the frontend with immutability and asyncronous programming. The language of choice will be ClojureScript, due to its readability and tooling, but the lessons learned are applicable to any language/framework.
