www.incorporate.com helps small businesses to form a corporation or an LLC and do other filings with federal, state, and local governments. Our team of ~10 people maintains this web site and several related applications. Following the scrum process, we deliver new features to the live web site every three weeks. As the business has grown and new features are implemented, the need for consistent quality has risen.
A year ago, we began using Fitnesse and Selenium for functional testing. We currently run a regression suite of over 1,700 tests every day. During this talk, we will demonstrate the tools we are using and run some live tests. We will talk about the advantages and challenges we see in this approach. We will discuss why we chose these tools instead of QTP, the testing solution favored by our corporate parent. This is very much a work in process. We look forward to a lively discussion.
