and Howard Meyers are talking on \"Learning and the ROI on training and coaching on Lean/Agile Practices within a Company\" \r\n\r\nTom has finished his PhD and will be sharing viewpoi nts from his thesis. \r\nHis Co-Author Howard Meyers will also be spea king at this presentation.\r\n\r\nNow, this may not to be perfectly po lished presentation in it's final form.  This is more a trial for Tom and Howard who will be presenting their paper at a conference later this spring.  This presentation allows them to get feedback and make adjustments to their work - and we all get to help.\r\n\r\nThomas Ston e is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State Abington.  Tom joi ned the full time faculty at Penn State Abington in 2014 after 23 year s at Siemens Healthcare IT in various capacities, most recently as Dir ector of Strategy and Finance where he was responsible for benchmarkin g activities and competitive analysis.  Previous roles at Siemens inc luded Compliance Officer, Financial Officer for International Operatio ns, and Director of the Strategic Projects Office. \r\n   \r\nTom has\r\n\r\nBA in Political Science from La Salle University\r\nMBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business\r\nDBA f rom Temple University’s Fox School of Business\r\nTom’s doctoral d issertation examined the impact of training and coaching on lean/agile software development productivity at a major software development fir m.\r\n\r\n\r\nAt Penn State, Tom teaches undergraduates in microeconom ics, finance, strategy, and international
