 iest project managers in the world and formally a VP of Project Manage
 ment at the popular agency, Happy Cog in Philadelphia.  While there, 
 he founded the Digitial PM Summit event where hundreds of Project Mana
 gers from around the world gather each year to learn from each other a
 bout project management in the digital space.  Brett is now the Direc
 tor of Education at TeamGantt, where he puts out tons of videos and gu
 ides on project management from his 20 years of experience on the job 
 and in the community. Â I'm Nathan Gilmore, one of the Co-Founders of
  TeamGantt. I work on product design and I'm always talking with users
  about their current struggles.  One thing we've been hearing a lot a
 bout is how people are blending agile and waterfall, but there is no r
 eal instruction or inspiration available on how to do this.  Most peo
 ple seem to think that they need to pick either agile or waterfall, wh
 en in reality it seems like 80% of teams are actually doing some type 
 of blending.  However, there just hasn't been a way for everyone to t
 alk about it and share their ideas.\r\nThat's why we wanted to start t
 his event.  This is a chance for the community to get together and le
 arn from each other on how peers and other experienced companies are a
 ctually blending agile and traditional methods to create a process tha
 t works for them.\r\nThis isn't going to be high-level fluff.  This i
 s detailed in the weeds talk about process, tools, meetings, Gantt cha
 rts, boards, and how it all works together.\r\nThe first presenter wil
 l be a friend of ours, Justin Handler, from the agency O3 World.  The
 y've been refining their process for years to get something that works
  for them.  And they are being incredibly generous about being transp
 arent and being willing to share that process with everyone else in ho
 pes that you can take something away that will help you and your team.
